Environment (Nitunze Nikutunze)

Nitunze Nikutunze is JIVITA Foundation’s environmental conservation initiative in the Arusha region, created in response to environmental destruction caused by human activities. The program builds community awareness and promotes action—especially tree planting—to protect and restore the environment.

Nitunze Nikutunze was established to conserve the environment around the Arusha region after growing damage linked to human activities.

The program is designed to work with the community and stakeholders to strengthen environmental responsibility and practical conservation habits.

A key part of the project is collaboration with government, local environmental initiatives, private institutions, and individual community members.

Together, we raise awareness on how communities can conserve the environment—starting with a simple, powerful action: planting trees.

To support environmental conservation in the Arusha region through community awareness and tree-planting action, working in collaboration with key stakeholders.
