Who we are
The Jitegemee Vijana Tanzania Foundation (JIVITA Foundation) is a youth-led nonprofit organization registered by the Government of Tanzania under the NGOs Act. We work to address socio-economic and emerging challenges facing young people, while also supporting other marginalized groups.
What we do
Our objective is to foster connectivity and access to opportunities and resources through designing and implementing projects—primarily in the education and health sectors.
We empower individuals to uses available opportunities to improve self-reliance in a sustainable way.

Our work is mainly in Tanzania, a developing country located in Eastern Africa.
How we are funded
JIVITA Foundation is mainly funded by member contributions, supplemented by donations from members of the general public.
